How to make fresh instant Aloe Vera Juice at home

Here is an easy way of making Fresh Aloe Vera Juice in 5 minutes! Yes, you read it right. You don’t have to spend a lot of time every morning making this juice and still, you can have fresh homemade juice ready in few minutes. It is a known fact that anything bottled is not as good as fresh. Aloe Vera juice can be consumed every day for good health. So here I am sharing an easy and fast method of having fresh homemade juice every day.

Aloe Vera is known as Ghritkumari, Gwarpatha in Hindi. Nature has blessed mankind with this miracle plant. Because of its beneficial health properties, it is also rightly known as – Lily of the desert, Plant of life, Miracle Plant, Plant of Immortality, Burn plant apart from other regional names. Humans have long known about the plant’s healing benefits. Aloe vera has been known for its healing properties over thousands of years. People are aware of the goodness of this plant and that is why nowadays aloe leaves are easily available.

Aloe vera contains many vitamins, minerals and micronutrients, such as vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B9, B12, C, E and PP, as well as iron, calcium, copper, phosphorus, potassium, chromium, magnesium, manganese, selenium, and zinc. It also contains 7 of the 8 essential amino acids. Aloe vera is one of the oldest plants known to provide many amazing benefits for skin, health, weight loss and many more.

  • It is well known for improving the health of the digestive system. If you are suffering from any gastrointestinal disorders, drinking Aloe Vera juice can relieve it.
  • Aloe vera leaf is also used widely for its skin benefits. It is healing and is also considered antioxidant and therefore anti-ageing. Using the aloe vera on acne or some facial warts helps reduce the darkness.
  • Using aloe vera on falling hair stops the hair fall issue and promote healthy hair growth. It nourishes and conditions the hair, scalp and prevents dandruff.
  • Using aloe vera on burned body parts or skin helps to soothe the pain and reduces the blemishes caused by the burnt injury.

Ingredients for Aloe Vera Juice

3 thick aloe Vera leaves

Directions for Aloe Vera Juice

  • Wash the leaves thoroughly to remove all the dirt. Pat dry with a kitchen towel.
  • With a knife remove the part of any discolouration. Cut both the sides to remove the thorny sides.
  • Now peel the outer side of the stalk with a potato peeler or knife.
  • Scrape out the gel, in a bowl, using a spoon. This gel should be clear of any green part.
  • Blend the gel to a liquid without adding any water.
  • Now strain the juice.
  • Pour in an ice tray to make cubes. Set in the freezer overnight. Remove the cubes from the ice tray and keep in the freezer in a zip lock bag.
  • Every morning put 2 to 3 aloe vera cubes in a tumbler, pour hot water till the tumbler is half full. The cubes will melt within a few seconds. Now add more hot or normal water to fill the tumbler.
  • Your Aloe Vera juice is ready. Drink this on empty stomach.

Important notes

  • Please check the jelly from each leave to see if there is bitterness. If it is bitter do not use.
  • This juice has no flavour and can be easily consumed with water only without mixing any other juice in it.
  • Aloe vera jelly in the form of ice cubes can be rubbed on face and under the eyes also for reducing puffy eyes.
