Pita Bread

Pita Bread

Pita Bread is a soft, slightly leavened flat bread made from wheat flour. It is a staple of Middle Eastern cuisine. Pita Bread can be used to wrap kebabs or Falafel and also served with sauces or dips such as Hummus, Roasted Red Pepper Hummus and Baba Ganoush

It can also be cut and baked into crispy pita chips. I love to bake them at home as they are super easy . You can either bake them in the oven or on the stove top. Both the methods work equally well. You can make them well in advance as they store well wrapped in kitchen towel.
