Stuffed Cheese Mushrooms

Stuffed Cheese Mushrooms are easy to make and are great starters for big gatherings or parties. These cheese garlicky mushrooms are delicious and hard to stop eating. Made with button mushrooms, fresh bread crumbs and cheese, this finger food never fails to impress. You can season the filling as per your taste. Stuffed Cheese Mushrooms

Total time: 15 to 20 minutes

Ingredients For Stuffed Cheese Mushrooms

200 grams button mushrooms
1 onion chopped fine
1 teaspoon garlic paste/ chopped fine
¼ cup spinach chopped
1 teaspoon parsley chopped
1 tablespoon red capsicum chopped fine (optional)
2 + 2 tablespoon grated cheese
3 tablespoon fresh bread crumbs
1 tablespoon pizza / Cajun seasoning
2 + 1 tablespoon melted butter
1 tablespoon olive oil

Directions  For Stuffed Cheese Mushrooms

  • Wipe the mushrooms with wet towel and remove the stem by twisting it.
  • Chop the stem finely.
  • Heat the oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a pan; add the onion and saute for 2 minutes.
  • Now add garlic, chopped mushroom stem, spinach and saute.
  • Add 2 tablespoon cheese, bread crumbs, parsley, seasoning, salt and mix.
  • Switch off the heat and set aside.
  • Brush all the mushrooms with butter and fill in with the stuffing and top with red peppers.
  • Arrange on a baking tray and bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes.
  • Sprinkle rest of the cheese and keep under the grill till the cheese melts.
  • Enjoy.
